About the Role
Join our team as a Patient Services Assistant on a full time or part time; ongoing or fixed term basis to work at Monash Medical Centre based at Clayton. In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of the General Services Manager & Supervisors and working with the broader Support Services team.
PSAs play a vital role in patient care through tasks such as cleaning of clinical areas, patient transfers, equipment handling and mortuary transfers; all whilst supporting our clinical teams, maintaining safety, infection prevention and control, privacy, confidentiality and dignity of patients at all times.
About You
To be successful in this role, you bring PSA experience preferably in a hospital or aged care setting, with a strong focus on patient care, safety, teamwork and infection control practices.
You have strong communication skills and a reliable, team-focused approach. An essential requirement is Certificate III in Health Services Assistance.

Monash Medical Centre in Clayton is a major teaching and research hospital offering comprehensive specialist services, including surgery, medicine, mental health, and palliative care. An expansion is underway to construct a seven-storey tower that will increase surgical capacity, enhance maternity services, and support the growing healthcare needs of Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.
