The Payroll Compliance Manager is a key leadership position responsible for governance, assurance, and oversight of payroll compliance activities across Monash Health.
In this role, you will:
- Lead payroll compliance frameworks, ensuring alignment with legislation, industrial instruments, and organisational policies
- Provide expert advice on payroll risk, compliance obligations, and controls
- Oversee payroll assurance, reporting, and WorkCover payroll obligations
- Strengthen payroll integrity, accuracy, and transparency through robust processes and controls
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across payroll systems and processes
This role will work closely with the Head of Payroll Services and key stakeholders across Finance, HR, and operational teams.
About You
We are looking for a collaborative and outcomes‑focused leader who brings:
- Extensive experience in payroll compliance, governance, or risk management
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and industrial frameworks
- Proven ability to lead compliance initiatives and influence stakeholders
- Analytical capabilities with a focus on process improvement and assurance
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear, authoritative advice
