About the Role
Monash Health is reimagining the way care is led and delivered. With a refreshed organisational structure, we’re building operational teams designed for the future. Joining us in a Personal Assistant (PA) role is your opportunity to join this transformation and play an important part in ensuring our senior operational leaders are well supported and that their offices run smoothly.
We now have twelve PA roles available, across three Divisions. Each Personal Assistant supports either two or three operational leaders.

Location: Monash Children’s Hospital
If appointed to one of these roles, you will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative support and for delivering high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. This includes:
- Coordination and management of office communications including diary management
- Preparation and distribution of accurate, high-quality reports
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of materials provided and accessed in the course of undertaking your role
- Ensuring a focus on continuous improvement in the conduct of your role
These positions are classified at HS2 level under the relevant Enterprise Agreement and there is capacity to pay an over Award allowance to the successful applicants dependent on skills and experience.
Primarily based onsite (with some ability to work from home, via negotiation), these positions and operate during normal business hours, Monday to Friday. Some travel between Monash Health sites may be required and a current Driver’s Licence is a mandatory requirement.
About You
With highly developed skills in M365, you are always well presented, highly organised and can easily juggle competing priorities as they arise. Your attention to detail and accuracy, along with previous experience in minute-taking, meeting papers and action logs, will be invaluable. With demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and effectively within a team structure, your professional approach enables you to manage and resolve challenging issues. You have a “can do” attitude, are willing to learn and grow, and you are polite, courteous and respectful in all your interactions.
You’re now looking for the opportunity to transfer your previous PA experience in a large, complex organisation, to support us as we embark on our next phase of growth and development.
A Certificate IV or Diploma in Administration will be highly regarded.
