About Digital Health Training and Adoption

The Digital Health Training and Adoption team plays a vital role in supporting both clinical and non-clinical electronic systems. We lead the implementation and training of key platforms, including the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and other digital documentation systems, ensuring our workforce can deliver safe, efficient, and innovative care.

Our team provides comprehensive training for all new employees on clinical documentation applications and supports ongoing adoption of new and existing digital systems. We work closely with stakeholders to deliver engaging online training, interactive webinars, and practical user guides—empowering staff to confidently use digital tools in their daily practice.

 

About the Role

In this Fixed Term Full-time role (12 months parental leave replacement), you’ll provide high-level personal assistant support to the Deputy Directors while managing key administrative functions that enable our training and adoption activities. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your organizational skills and attention to detail will make a real difference.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex diaries, schedule meetings, and prepare agendas and minutes
  • Coordinate training access and maintain accurate reports
  • Handle emails, queries, bookings, and internal communications
  • Collate data and manage files to support team operations
  • Oversee equipment management and account provisioning
  • Support the implementation of new and upgraded digital systems

 

The successful candidate will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including members of the Digital Health Training and Adoption team, Clinical Informatics, Digital Applications, Technology Business Services Level 1 Service Desk, the Digital Health PMO, and the broader Digital Health Division.

An above-award salary will be considered, commensurate with the successful applicant’s experience qualifications.

About You

As the successful candidate, you will bring strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with an approach that is engaging, supportive, effective, and timely. You thrive in a dynamic environment and take pride in delivering high-quality support as a key member of the Training and Adoption team. This role is primarily office-based, with the option for allocated work-from-home days in line with Monash Health guidelines.

You have:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant systems.
  • Experience in a healthcare or similar environment (preferred).
  • A commitment to Monash Health’s values of integrity, compassion, and excellence

 

You also bring:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
  • Proven ability to perform in a complex environment, meeting high standards and tight deadlines while adapting to shifting priorities

  • Advanced proficiency in software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional customer service skills and high-level written and verbal communication
  • Initiative and independence in task execution while contributing effectively to a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
