About the Role

The Personal Assistant is a highly visible and respected administrative role, providing support to Operational Leaders to ensure their offices run smoothly. The position is responsible for providing personal administrative support to the Operational leader and will interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to manage a broad range of issues, including confidential and complex situations. 

 

Monash Health Community is excited to announce a Personal Assistant position is now available within the Community and Care in the Home Directorate. The role will support the Operations Manager Community and Operations Manager Care in the Home. 

  • Permanent Part Time Position – 48 hours a fortnight (0.6 EFT). 

  • This role is for Monday, Thursday and Friday.

 

About You

Qualifications/ registrations/ licences:

  • Full Victorian driver’s licence
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Administration (desirable)

Technical skills/ knowledge/ experience:

  • Highly developed skills in M365 application suite, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint,
  • Outlook and a high level of technology / system literacy
  • Highly developed customer service skills – excellent self-presentation, highly organised and well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in minute-taking, managing action logs and meeting papers
  • Previous experience in preparation and formatting of directorate reports for the Board of Directors
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement approach in the workplace
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and work comfortably in a fast-paced environment, to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload, which at times may require flexibility of working hours (with appropriate notice) to support the Operational leader with meetings and special events
  • Ability to manage and resolve challenging issues, including conflict, in a professional manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to adapt communication style for a range of audiences and purposes
  • Evidence of a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Previous experience in a Personal Assistant role, preferably in a large and complex organisation
