About the Role
Join Monash Health as a Pharmacy Clinical Educator on a full-time or part-time basis. This dynamic role combines education and clinical practice, with approximately 60% dedicated to training and education and 40% to patient-facing care. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing the skills of our clinical pharmacy workforce while maintaining your own clinical expertise.
As a member of our Award-Winning Clinical Educator team, you’ll provide hands-on “at-the-elbow” support, deliver structured education programs, and contribute to governance and innovation in pharmacy education. You’ll also complete the Monash Health Clinical Educator credentialing program within four months of commencement.
Key Responsibilties:
- Deliver orientation and ongoing education for interns, residents, registrars, and pharmacists
- Provide real-time support and feedback during clinical activities
- Plan and implement training programs aligned with best-practice teaching frameworks
- Maintain a patient-facing clinical role to ensure continuity of care and current practice knowledge
- Support credentialing programs and workforce development initiatives
- Contribute to education-related research and continuous improvement projects

About You
You’re an experienced hospital pharmacist with a passion for education and clinical excellence. You thrive on mentoring others, improving workflows, and supporting professional growth.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience
- Clinical education and/or supervision skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- Desirable: postgraduate qualifications and clinical education training
