Lead with Purpose in Mental Health Pharmacy 

Are you ready to take the next step in your pharmacy career and lead a team making a real difference in mental health care? Monash Health is seeking a passionate and experienced pharmacist to lead our Mental Health Pharmacy team, driving excellence in medication management and patient outcomes across inpatient and community settings.

 

About the Role 

As a Pharmacist Team Leader, you will lead a dedicated team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in delivering best-practice, patient-centred care within the mental health specialty. You’ll play a key role in shaping service delivery, mentoring staff, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Leading and supporting pharmacy staff to achieve high standards of practice 
  • Overseeing daily operations, rostering, and resource coordination 
  • Driving quality and safety initiatives aligned with national standards 
  • Supporting education, training, and professional development 
  • Contributing to research, audits, and improvement projects 
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational policies 
  • Representing pharmacy in multidisciplinary and governance forums

About You:  

You’re a skilled and motivated pharmacist with: 

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience 
  • Strong clinical knowledge in mental health pharmacy 
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and organisational skills 
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement 
  • Experience in education, research, and interprofessional collaboration
