About the Role:
Join our team as a Physiotherapist Grade 2 - Critical Care and Surgical Services in a full-time capacity where you will be responsible for providing physiotherapy services to multiple specialist surgical cohorts including (but not limited to) ENT, plastics, colorectal, upper gastrointestinal, cardiac, general and vascular surgery, as well as in an Intensive Care setting. You will provide best practice patient care, achieving operational effectiveness, developing and supporting junior staff while creating strong partnerships within and outside Monash Health with support from the Critical Care and Surgical Services Clinical Leads and senior physiotherapists.
We currently have multiple vacancies across our Grade 2 rotational program in both a permanent and fixed-term capacity (contract lengths from 6 -11 months). Rotations are yearly commencing in January therefore whilst being primarily based at one location for any fixed-term contract, you may be required to work at any of the Monash Health sites.

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- Clinical experience in the management of acute critically ill and surgical patients
- Passion for implementation of evidence-based practice
- Good clinical reasoning skills with experience in providing clinical education
- The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Ambition to grow your clinical skills and expand your knowledge
- Proactive and team player attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Mandatory requirements of the role:
- A relevant physiotherapy qualification
- Current unconditional AHPRA registration
- Experience in the management of critically ill and surgical patients
