About the Role:

Join our team as a Physiotherapist Grade 2 - Cystic Fibrosis on a full-time fixed-term basis until May 2027 (parental leave cover), based at Monash Medical Centre and Monash Children’s Hospital in Clayton.

 

This is a rare opportunity for a suitably skilled Physiotherapist to work in the only Cystic Fibrosis (CF) service in Australia that manages clients across the entire life span (from paediatrics to adults), in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.

 

Whilst primarily based at MMC and MCH, you may be required to work at any of the Monash Health sites, and contribution to the weekend service is an expectation.

About You:

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

  • Clinical experience in the management of respiratory patients, preferably chronic and acute
  • Passion for implementation of evidence-based practice
  • Good clinical reasoning skills with experience in providing clinical education
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Ambition to grow your clinical skills and expand your knowledge
  • Proactive and team player attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

 

Mandatory requirements of the role: 

  • A relevant physiotherapy qualification
  • Current unconditional AHPRA registration
  • Experience in the management of respiratory patients, preferably chronic and acute
