Full-time ongoing | Subacute | Rotational Program

 

About the Role

We are seeking a Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join our subacute Physiotherapy team as part of our rotational program. You will initially be based within a subacute ward at Kingston Centre, with future opportunities to rotate across gerontology services at Kingston Centre, Casey Hospital, or the Community setting.

As part of the Physiotherapy team, you will be supported to develop your clinical and leadership skills through education sessions, on-the-job learning, and career development opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality physiotherapy services within a Subacute Inpatient setting

  • Manage a diverse caseload across neurosciences, amputee rehabilitation and orthopaedic care

  • Contribute to clinical leadership through guidance and mentorship of multidisciplinary staff and the broader Physiotherapy workforce

  • Supervise Grade 1 Physiotherapists and support Allied Health Assistants and Physiotherapy students

  • Contribute to ward-based initiatives and service development activities

  • Work collaboratively with the Operational Physiotherapy Manager to support ongoing improvement and innovation

While this role is primarily based at Kingston Centre, you may be required to work across other Monash Health sites as needed.

 

 

About You:

  • Recent clinical experience with GEM and Rehabilitation patients  
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills 
  • Demonstrated commitment to best practice care

  • Your strong communication and interpersonal skills 

 

Mandatory Requirements: 

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent. 
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) 
  • Experience in the subacute rehabilitation setting
