About the Role:

Join our team as a Physiotherapist Grade 2 on a full-time, fixed-term basis until June 2026, based at Monash Health – Kingston Centre, with travel to other Monash Health sites when required.

 

You will be responsible for the provision of physiotherapy clinical services in the Sub Acute Inpatient setting. A fantastic opportunity if you are a new or experienced Grade 2 Physiotherapist, where you will be well supported by a large, progressive and dynamic Physiotherapy department.

 

With a varied caseload, including neurosciences, amputees and orthopaedic diagnoses. You will provide positive leadership to support the multi-disciplinary teams and the broader Monash Health Physiotherapy team. 

 

You will be responsible for the supervision of Grade 1 Physiotherapists, as well as providing support to Allied Health Assistants and Physiotherapy students. With opportunities to contribute to broader Allied Health leadership and ward governance. You will contribute to leadership within the Physiotherapy department, with opportunities for different portfolios, and will work closely with the operational Physiotherapy Manager regarding service development and innovations. 

 

It is planned for regular weekend work to be a requirement of this position.

Mandatory requirements of the role: 

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) 
  • Experience in the subacute rehabilitation setting
