About the role
We’re offering an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Grade 3 Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our acute services team on an ongoing basis, with full-time or part-time opportunities considered. Working alongside highly respected clinical experts, this role offers the chance to further develop your leadership capabilities, contribute to service innovation, and make a meaningful impact in the delivery of pelvic health care.

- Assist in leading and developing our acute pelvic health physiotherapy service across inpatient, outpatient, and advanced practice settings

- Work in close collaboration with our dedicated continence service, as well as Medical Directors, Nursing and Midwifery Managers, and Senior Allied Health Leaders
- Drive research, teaching, and quality initiatives, including competency-based assessments and service innovation

About You
To thrive in this role, you will bring the following:
- Extensive experience in physiotherapy assessment, intervention, case management and discharge planning across the continuum of pelvic health care
- Advanced knowledge in the application of evidence and theory to practice in the area of Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
- Ability to contribute to professional development of undergraduate, professional and postgraduate physiotherapists as well as the wider multidisciplinary team
On a personal level, you will demonstrate:
- Recognised clinical leadership experience in an acute physiotherapy service including service development and leading others through change
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver safe, consumer focused care
- Previous experience contributing to formal research projects and quality improvement activities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Advanced skills in organisation, time management, planning and priority setting
Mandatory requirements of the role:
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
- Relevant post graduate qualifications in Pelvic Health
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
