About the Role:
The Grade 1 Podiatrist will provide specialist clinical care in a multidisciplinary model across community based outpatient services within Monash Health, working across sites as required. The Podiatrist works collaboratively within the multidisciplinary CART programs. The primary focus is on assisting the individual to maintain their health, wellbeing and independence. The purpose is to provide an effective podiatry service to eligible clients. Scope of practice includes high risk foot care, biomechanical pathologies, wound management and general diagnostic treatment and management of foot disorders within centre based, and outreach models of care. We are looking for a Grade 1 Podiatrist 0.4 ongoing (permanent).

About Us:
The Community Assessment and Response Team (CART) Directorate offers a variety of programs that cover many aspects of health from screening to managing chronic conditions for those under 65 years, focusing on the assessment and delivery of client focused care. The team is committed to working with communities, families and individuals who have poor health outcomes and to providing high quality, multidisciplinary programs which embrace client centred care, evidence based practice and the Social Model of Health.

What you need:
- Bachelor of Podiatry, Bachelor of Applied Science (Podiatry) or recognised equivalent.
- Current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) - Podiatry Board of Australia, with no restrictions.
- Achieve and maintain competency in basic life support/first aid skills in accordance with the AHPRA Registration guidelines
- Include additional required or desired qualifications/registrations/licences such as NDIS Worker Screening clearance, post-graduate qualifications, membership/involvement in special interest groups
