About the Role:
Join our team as a Grade 2 Podiatrist in a part-time (0.4 EFT), ongoing role. This role requires travel between sites and collaboration with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
As part of the Community Assessment and Response Team (CART), you will:
•    Provide specialist clinical care in a multidisciplinary model across community-based outpatient services
•    Deliver high-quality podiatry services, including high-risk foot care, biomechanical pathologies, wound management, and diagnostic treatment of foot disorders
•    Support clients in maintaining health, wellbeing, and independence through centre-based and outreach care models

 

About Us:
The Primary Care Support Team, as part of CART, delivers programs to assist individuals in managing chronic health conditions with a strong focus on client-centred care.
Our multidisciplinary team includes Allied Health Assistants, Care Coordinators, Community Development Workers, Counsellors, Diabetes Nurse Educators, Dietitians, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, and Podiatrists.

About You:
To ensure success in this role, you will bring enthusiasm for working within a multidisciplinary team, a strong commitment to delivering best-practice, client-focused care, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
Mandatory requirements:
•    Bachelor of Podiatry, Bachelor of Applied Science (Podiatry), or equivalent qualification
•    Current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Podiatry Board of Australia
•    Competency in basic life support/first aid skills as per AHPRA guidelines
•    (Optional/additional) NDIS Worker Screening clearance, postgraduate qualifications, membership in special interest groups
