About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Grade 3 Podiatrist (0.8EFT) to work within our High-Risk Foot Service. The Podiatrist is responsible for coordinating and providing expert and specialised care for patients with high risk foot complications at Monash Health's community site 122 Thomas St, Dandenong. Key responsibilities include leading weekly Complex Offloading Clinic, being an escalation point for community services and to facilitate seamless transition of care between hospital and community. The Grade 3 Podiatrist will also be required to lead site portfolios to ensure compliance with organisational and community expectations. This position will provide supervision to junior Podiatrists and ensure high quality care. Travel between sites may be required.

About Us
Monash Health High Risk Foot Service provides best practice inpatient and outpatient care for patients with diabetes and complex limb threatening complications. The aim of the service is to provide evidence based, best practice care to patients with complex diabetes related (and other high risk) foot complications with a focus on reducing hospital admissions, minimising length of stay and reducing the rates of major amputation. The service in jointly run by Podiatry, Vascular (including Interventional Radiology), Orthopaedics, Diabetes with input from Infectious Diseases.
In 2024, Monash Health was awarded with a National Association Diabetes Centres High Risk Foot Service Centre of Excellence.

What you need:

Bachelor of Podiatry or equivalent.

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
