The Opportunity
Are you an organised, proactive administrator who enjoys supporting meaningful healthcare projects? We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support our MRFF-funded project: Implementation Research to Improve Outcomes in Primary Spontaneous Pneumothorax (iIMPROVE PSP) — a 5-year initiative improving emergency care practices.

- Team Support: Work closely with the project team, stakeholders, and Chief Investigators, contributing to an impactful national research initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the project team, including meeting coordination, agenda preparation, minute-taking, and document management.
- Assist with scheduling, communications, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Support preparation of project reports, presentations, and publications.
- Maintain accurate project records, tracking timelines, deliverables, and documentation.
- Coordinate travel, events, and workshops as required.
- Liaise with internal and external partners to support effective project delivery.
- Contribute to general administrative tasks across the research team.
To succeed in this role you’ll bring:
- Experience in administrative or project support roles, preferably within a research, academic, or healthcare setting.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
- Ability to work autonomously, show initiative, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
