About the Role

The Project Data Lead role at Monash Health involves leading data migration initiatives for the implementation of Oracle cloud-based ERP systems. Your key responsibilities would focus on managing the data migration process, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the project within scope and timelines. This role will lead the end-to-end data migration for the project ensuring seamless transitions from legacy systems to the new SaaS platforms. This role requires passion for data, process improvement, and confidence in leading a small team for success. 

Key deliverables include: 

  • Ensuring data migration components align with the approved schedule. 

  • Engaging the organization to finalize the data scope. 

  • Delivering a clear and signed-off design with explanations of any deviations. 

  • Meeting the business requirements for data migration according to the project schedule. 

  • Operationalizing the Oracle SaaS system with accurate reconciliation of legacy data. 

 

About You 

To thrive in the Project Data Lead role at Monash Health, you would need to demonstrate the following key skills and expertise: 

  • Experience in analysing data migration requirements, particularly in handling and mapping legacy data for smooth transitions. 

  • Ability to design effective data migration strategies, including data transformation processes where necessary. 

  • Proficiency in building, testing, and managing data migrations using Oracle tools and Excel, ensuring smooth and accurate transfers. 

  • Experience working with Oracle SaaS systems, with a solid understanding of its functionality and data structures. 

  • Strong ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, navigating and managing their expectations, and responding to shifting project landscapes with a flexible approach.
