Project Manager, Clinical Trials

The Victorian Heart Institute (VHI), located at the Victorian Heart Hospital, is an academic clinical research organisation which operationalises and facilitates the conduct of local, national and international cardiovascular clinical trials in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, and we're currently searching for our next Project Manager for Clinical Trials.  Commencing from study set-up through to study close-out for Phase 1-4 trials, biobanks and registries, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all levels of trial activity and will work closely with the VHI Clinical Trial Operations Manager.  Refer to Position Description for more information or contact Domenic Sacca, Clinical Trials Operations Manager, VHI on +61 (0) 423245187

About You

As an accomplished Clinical Project Manager, you take pride in working collaboratively across a supportive multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality clinical trials evidence based, patient and family centred care. To ensure your success in this role, you will have the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

  • Sound experience in clinical trial project management
  • Ability to manage several clinical trials simultaneously and meet competing timelines
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • A working knowledge of current regulations and guidelines pertaining to Good Clinical Practice and National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research
  • Experience as a Clinical Research Associate (desirable)
