About the Role:
Join our team as a Project Manager on a full time, fixed term (end date July 2026), to work across sites as per project allocation but based at Clayton

- You will be a proactive and driven individual in the delivery of projects
- Ability to manage multiple and sometimes challenging stakeholder relationships with strong communications skills
- Delivery of projects on a day to day basis with a focus on quality, time and budget management
- Coordination of projects across various clinical environments with a focus on maintaining day to day operations and clinical services
- Ability to work within a team environment and support other team members on a day to day basis
There will be a requirement to travel across sites to support project delivery.
About Us:
As a member of the Capital Projects team, and reporting to the Head of Capital and Infrastructure, the Project Manager will work with other team members in the planning and delivery of various capital projects.
The role encompasses planning and delivery of major refurbishments and capital development projects across multiple Monash Health sites being led by Monash Health and the Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA). There are also a number of smaller internally funded projects that Project Managers will be directly responsible for delivery. Project activities include the coordination of partner planning and liaison, tendering and appointment of consultants, oversight of detailed design and tender documentation, tendering of building works and management of the consultant project team and the building contractor, and liaison with the project stakeholders to achieve budgetary, programme and project objectives.
This is a client-side role where communications, representation and advocacy of the client and operational areas is critical to the day to day delivery of all projects. Significant time in the role will be around engaging with the teams and ensuring that project design and delivery is focused on complying with and meeting operational day to day requirements in design, delivery and finalisation of the project.
About You:
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
Outline skills / experience / attitude
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/ or experience in project management or related area
- Victorian Driver’s Licence
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and qualifications
- Qualifications in Project Management, Finance management and similar would be highly regarded
- Demonstrated understanding of the Health care sector
