About the Role
At Agile Psychological Medicine Clinics (aPM) we believe our community should have access to personalised, flexible therapeutic care at their first interaction with public mental health services. We have a team of smart and dedicated psychologists, social workers and psychiatrists who are passionate about providing this care and we are looking for up to 5 part-time psychologists to join our team. Full-time would also be an option if preferred. What you will be doing:

Meeting with consumers referred from Monash Health psychiatric triage, emergency or other services in mental health, and jointly with the consumer, come to an understanding of the issues and the consumer’s needs.

Provide psychological treatment - make a difference to the lives of our consumers by providing timely and flexible psychological interventions

Routinely measure the outcomes of your work and have this inform your work going forward

Be part of a strong and supportive clinical team where we support each other to do interesting and challenging work

About You:

You are an accomplished psychologist with a passion for providing high quality psychology care.

You are a flexible thinker with the capacity to self-manage
-
You have experience delivering mental health interventions and you are competent in one of more of the following: cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT) or motivational interviewing (MI).

You lead by example, thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence-based psychological treatment to all clients

You are in interested in a psychology specific role in public mental health

These positions are at least 3 days per week if part-time, although applications for more hours per week would also be considered.
