About the Role 

As a full time JMS Recruitment & Credentialing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of a safe, high-quality medical workforce at Monash Health. Working closely with the Leadership team, you’ll help ensure our doctors are appropriately recruited, credentialed, and ready to provide exceptional patient care. 

This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where your attention to detail, organisational skills, and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to building a capable and compliant workforce. You’ll partner with clinical units and stakeholders across the organisation, providing expert support in recruitment, onboarding, and workforce operations. 

  

Recruitment & Credentialing 

  • Support medical workforce planning and establishment activities
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and selection processes for a range of roles, including interns, general trainees, physician trainees, and surgical trainees
  • Manage credentialing, employment contracting, and onboarding for all medical staff (paid and unpaid appointments)
  • Ensure all new starters are fully compliant and “work ready” prior to commencement
  • Facilitate locum engagement and secondment arrangements
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient, timely, and compliant processes 

  

About You 

You are a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about supporting healthcare delivery. 

  

You will bring: 

  • Experience in, or a strong understanding of, the healthcare or hospital environment \
  • Knowledge of medical workforce recruitment and/or credentialing processes (highly regarded)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement
  • Confidence in managing complex or sensitive situations with professionalism and sound judgement
  • A commitment to teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Understanding of key HR principles, including Workplace Health & Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, and anti-discrimination
