About the Role

As a Registered Midwife at Monash Medical Centre, you’ll provide high-quality, evidence-based care across the full continuum of maternity services — from pregnancy and birth to postnatal care — within a tertiary, high-acuity environment.

 

You’ll work collaboratively within a large, multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, supportive setting that champions:

This role offers the opportunity to expand your clinical capability while contributing to a service that leads in advanced maternity care and innovation.

 

Ongoing full-time and part-time positions are available, working across a rotating roster (all shifts). 

Night duty options available upon request.

About You

You are a dedicated Registered Midwife who thrives in a dynamic, high-acuity environment and is passionate about supporting women and families through complex and diverse maternity journeys.

 

You bring:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
  • Recent maternity experience (antenatal, intrapartum and/or postnatal)
  • Confidence or interest in developing skills in high-risk/tertiary care
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • A commitment to woman-centred, culturally safe practice
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster (including nights and weekends)
