About the Victorian Heart Hospital (VHH) 

The Victorian Heart Hospital is Australia’s first dedicated heart hospital and includes a full range of ambulatory and inpatient cardiac care, including cardiac theatres, cardiac catheterisation laboratories, emergency, intensive care, and ambulatory services such as cardiac CT, echocardiography and specialist consultation. VHH features a unique, patient centred model of care, bringing together the world’s best in cardiovascular care, training and research. 

Located on the Monash University Clayton campus, the heart hospital plays a key role in advancing research and teaching and is also home to the Victorian Heart Institute (VHI), a brand new, health and medical research organisation. VHH will support integration of world-class research, education and training with clinical care, translating advanced developments into new and innovative models of cardiac care.  

About the Role - Registered Nurse, Cardiac Services 

Monash Heart Private is seeking passionate and experienced Registered Nurses to join our private Cardiac Services team, located within the state-of-the-art Victorian Heart Hospital.

About You

What You Need:  

• Current AHPRA registration and eligibility to work in Australia 

• Experience in cardiac or cardiothoracic nursing 

• Postgraduate qualification in cardiac or critical care (highly desirable) 

• Strong commitment to evidence-based practice 

• Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and patient care skills 

• Ability to work collaboratively and meet organisational KPIs 

• Dedication to ongoing career development
