About the Role

Opportunity for an Emergency Department Nurse to join in a part time, ongoing position working out of Monash Medical Centre - Emergency Department.

We guarantee that no two days will be the same.

As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will provide exceptional, patient-centred care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, utilising your clinical expertise to assess, treat, and support patients experiencing acute illness or injury.

 

About Us

The Clayton Emergency Department provides emergency services for adult patients across Southeast Melbourne and surrounding regional areas. The department is responsible for over 60,000 emergency presentations annually, hosts 75 treatment spaces, including six resuscitation cubicles, eight isolation rooms and a 20-bed adult short stay unit. 

 

About You

You are a proven Registered Nurse with Emergency Department experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a willingness to commit to team work and ongoing professional development that align with our programs, values and vision.

 

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

  • Patient-centred, high quality care to individuals presenting to the Emergency Department
  • Be a role model and mentor, fostering collaboration and teamwork among like-minded colleagues
  • Excited to actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives to uphold and enhance best practice standards within the program

 

In addition: 

  • You are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Authority (AHRPA)
  • Hold a valid Working with Children Check
