We currently have two exciting opportunities available:
Full-Time – Maternity Leave Replacement (until June 2026)
Part-Time (0.8 EFT | 64 hours per fortnight) – Ongoing position
The MMC Endoscopy Suites aim to provide safe, high quality and timely care to our community. Our multi-disciplinary team work with humility, respect and kindness. We consistently strive to provide experiences that exceed expectation.
The suites consists of 3 procedure rooms and provide a wide variety of elective interventional and emergency procedures, including Upper and Lower GI Endoscopy Procedures and Respiratory Services. Procedures performed include Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP/Spyglass, EUS, POEM, Enteroscopy, ESD, EMR, EBUS and Radial EBUS.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our busy and collaborative Endoscopy Unit, you will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-focused care. Your responsibilities will include:

Anaesthetics and Recovery care

Assisting with procedures and scope processing
-
Managing day-to-day operations of the unit
-
Supporting high standards of nursing care and safety
-
Conducting daily reporting and audits
-
Promoting Occupational Health & Safety standards
We offer a Monday to Friday roster (7:30am – 6:00pm) with no night shifts or weekend work, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
About You
You are an experienced RN with a background in Theatre and/or Endoscopy and a strong focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate care. You're an excellent communicator and team player who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
You demonstrate:

You will also possess:

Previous experience in Anaesthetics – Essential

Previous experience in Recovery – Essential

Previous experience in Endoscopy/Theatre – Essential

Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing – Desirable

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
-
