About the Role:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in a full-time/part-time ongoing position to work at Ward 42 based at Monash Medical Centre.
We currently have multiple vacancies to fill, including capacity to accommodate permanent night duty employees.
As a registered nurse, you will enjoy the variety and challenges that comes from working with skilled senior staff and clinical mentors while being supported by the leadership team across the program and across our large, complex health service.
Your work will include:
- Patient-centred provision of care to our cohort of patients in General Medicine and Infectious Diseases
- Role modelling and mentoring like-minded employees and working within the team collaboratively
- Participating in quality improvement across the program to support best practice
About Us:
Ward 42 provides holistic care to General Medicine and Infectious Diseases patients accommodating up to 40 patients. Patients are admitted to General Medicine with a wide variety of acute medical problems who can be discharged to a variety of settings including home, other health care services and aged care services. We pride ourselves on the delivery of high-quality care and strive for positive outcomes and experiences for our patients and staff. We support the care of patients with a wide variety of presentations both clinically and psychosocially.
About You:
You are a Registered Nurse with a positive attitude who loves to laugh and enjoys being at work with likeminded nurses. You share this passion for nursing through demonstrating your skill and knowledge with your patients while donning a smile. You support them through their inpatient journey in providing safe patient and family centred care. This is why you chose to be a nurse after all!
Along with this, you have proven experience working in an acute setting and general medicine experience and post graduate studies would be highly regarded.
You are driven and look forward to growing your career with the support of amazing mentors and educators within our highly skilled broader leadership team.
