Registered Nurse – Specialist Consulting Clinic Clayton

About the Role:

 

Join our team as a Registered Nurse on a part time fixed term (64hrs/fortnight) contract to work at Specialist Consulting Clinics based at Clayton.

The Registered Nurse position within Specialist consulting is involved in:

  • Delivering Nursing services to support consumers in an Ambulatory clinic setting based on evidence based best practice and a person centred approach
    • Adult and Paediatric
  • Planning & Implementing Nursing interventions to be delivered in the clinic setting,  engage in care planning pre and post-consumer attendance at clinic, facilitate collaboration with external and internal care providers
  • Monday to Friday working hours, no weekends, no night duty.

 

About Us:

Specialist Consulting at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton provides an extensive range of medical and surgical services, supported by multidisciplinary staff including allied health specialists, diagnostic services and interpreter assistance. This position requires you to work between multiple clinics and clinic locations within Monash Medical Centre Clayton. The Specialist Consulting nursing team work closely with the clinic administration team to promote a positive patient experience. We offer care for consumers of all ages with a broad range of complex care requirements in an ambulatory setting.

 

About You:

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

•    Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to be able to work collaboratively as part   of a multidisciplinary team to ensure best practice and quality patient outcomes. 
•    Ability to work in a fast paced environment. 
•    Leadership and team building experience
•    Specialist Consulting experience is highly desirable
•    Strong problem solving and Critical thinking abilities. 
•    Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. 

 

What You Need:
•    Demonstrated acute clinical nursing experience
•    Clinical leadership and/or management experience within a hospital setting
•    An understanding of the essentials of quality improvement, recognising opportunities and initiatives and to be accountable for and manage the action
•    Computer technical competency working with electronic patient/medical records, supporting the unit with changes and training when required
