About Us
Kingston Centre, located in Heatherton, is a stand-alone subacute site within Victoria’s largest public health service, Monash Health. Onsite we have a purpose-built rehabilitation centre which encompasses a large onsite gym, pool and kitchen amenities for our consumers. Rehabilitation @ Kingston Centre is comprised of 3 units that specialise in a range of services that include Geriatric Rehabilitation, Movement Disorders, post Stroke Rehabilitation, MS, Spinal Cord Injuries and post craniotomy rehabilitation, and wide range of other neurological conditions. NW2 is a highly skilled and collaborative neurological rehabilitation unit, where nurses work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional, patient-centred care through compassionate, evidence-based practice. We are committed to supporting the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of our patients, families, and staff while fostering a positive, open, and supportive team culture. NW2 also values ongoing education and specialised nursing career growth, offering learning opportunities through education sessions, clinical teaching, and study days to support professional development in neurological rehabilitation nursing.
We currently have ongoing positions with both Full Time and Part Time hours available working across a 7-day rotational roster.
About the Role
We are currently seeking Registered Nurses looking to excel their career and grow their clinical knowledge, and at Kingston Centre there is an abundance of learning and leadership opportunities waiting to be explored! The capacity of work to undertake complex discharge planning, complex wounds, patient training, address continence and catheter issues.
With the overall aim to see that all patients are treated with dignity and respect as they transition into longer term Residential care or back into their home environment.

What you Bring
- Enthusiasm, compassion & ability to work collaboratively! As an experienced Registered Nurse you will understand the Clinical requirements of the role however your enthusiasm for ongoing learning and education will make you a stand out!
- Understanding the importance of patient centred care, you have experience as a Registered Nurse and have a genuine interest in working and interacting with our diverse patients.
- Your critical thinking, willingness to learn and ability to work cohesively and share knowledge within the team will see you excel in this role whilst we provide you with guidance, support and training.
What you need
- Current AHPRA registration - as a Registered Nurse, essential
- Proven clinical experience working within neurosciences, subacute or rehabilitation – essential
- Flexible working style to adapt to changes through the day
- Compassionate manner, advocating for patients in their vulnerable state
