About the Role - Research Nurse Level 2

  • Opportunity for a Research Nurse to join the Monash Children’s Clinical Trials Centre Team at Monash Health  
  • Responsible for conducting paediatric commercial and investigator trials. 
  • Located at the Monash Children’s Hospital, Clayton   

  

Our Journey  

Monash Children’s Clinical trials Centre actively leads and participates in multicentre clinical trials and observational studies. The unit coordinates research in various therapeutic areas. We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our research team.  

  

A Day in the Life  

As a Research Nurse Level 2, you will be responsible for the management and conduct of clinical trials.  

  

About You 

An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive group of research team. You will have demonstrable experience in working collaboratively with key agencies, within the scope of relevant legislation and professional guidelines and are an excellent communicator, able to work independently and contribute to a resilient team. You have experience in the development and review of standard operating protocols, liaising with external agencies, participating in patient recruitment and adverse event reporting (as required) in consultation with the management team. In addition to this, you will also have  

  • Attention to detail skill and be able to rigorously adhere to relevant documentation standards  
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with external research organisations, sites and stakeholders 
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently as well as consulting and collaborating with others to deliver outcomes  
  • Be outcome focused with ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously   

What you need:  

  • Registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA via AHPRA  
  • Current and satisfactory pre or ongoing employment screening, including but not limited to National Police 
  • Check and employee Working with Children Check (WWC) 
  • Research experience preferred
