Are you passionate about clinical research and improving patient outcomes through scientific discovery? 

Monash Health is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Research Study Coordinator (Nursing Level 2/ Medical Scientist Grade 2) to join our growing research team within Monash Lung Sleep Allergy Immunology (MLSAI). This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work across a diverse portfolio of clinical trials and investigator-led studies in respiratory medicine, sleep disorders, allergy and immunology.   

 

About the Role 

As a Research Study Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering high-quality clinical research studies. Working closely with clinicians, researchers, industry sponsors and participants, you will support all stages of the research process, from participant recruitment and study visits through to data management, ethics submissions and reporting. 

You will: 

  • Coordinate and manage multiple clinical trials and research projects. 

  • Recruit, screen and support research participants. 

  • Collect, manage and maintain accurate clinical research data. 

  • Assist with ethics applications, amendments and regulatory submissions. 

  • Monitor study progress and ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements. 

  • Contribute to publications, conference abstracts and presentations. 

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Monash Health and external research partners.  

 

About You 

We are looking for someone who is: 

  • Passionate about research and advancing evidence-based healthcare. 

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail. 

  • An excellent communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with participants, clinicians and stakeholders. 

  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively. 

  • Committed to maintaining high standards of quality, ethics and patient-centred care.  

Essential Requirements: 

  • Bachelor of Nursing OR Bachelor of Science . 

  • Proven research experience and strong clinical research skills. 

  • Excellent organisational, time management and computer skills. 

  • Current Victorian Driver Licence.
