About Monash Health Pathology Service
Alfred Health and Monash Health have established a formal partnership to deliver a Shared Pathology Service as one of three new pathology networks for metropolitan Melbourne. All roles in the Pathology Programs are working to develop the Partnership and ensure we continue to provide high quality care for the patients across the health services. Monash Health Pathology is an integral part of Monash Health. It is the largest public provider of Pathology services in the state and currently operates 6 laboratories. The largest of these is located at the Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, with additional laboratories located at the Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey, Victorian Heart Hospital and Wonthaggi Hospitals. There are currently 18 collection locations based within the hospital sites and community settings. Services are provided to the Public and Private sectors, and other laboratory services.
Now Recruiting a Grade 1 Scientist in Biochemistry
We are looking for an enthusiastic Medical Scientist Grade 1 to join our Biochemistry Unit at the Clayton laboratory. You will be required to rotate through all sections of the laboratory which offers a 24 hour service. The successful applicant will be required to participate in the rotating roster working day, afternoon, night and weekend shifts.
Now Recruiting a Full time Grade 3 Scientist in Biochemistry - Permanent Ongoing Position
We are looking for an enthusiastic Medical Scientist Grade 3 to join our Biochemistry Unit at the Clayton laboratory.
Specific Criteria:
- A minimum of 10 years of expertise in Clinical Mass Spectrometry.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and identifying LCMS/LC-UV assay interference.
- Experienced in method development and report documentation for clinical and research applications using LCMS.
- Skilled in executing experiments within QA programs and troubleshooting assay bias and precision issues.
- Demonstrated leadership in the development and implementation of training programs.
- Liaise with NATA for submission of validation reports.
- Ensure adherence to the annual budget.
