About Monash Lung Sleep Allergy and Immunology at Monash Health
Monash Lung Sleep Allergy and Immunology provide inpatient, outpatient care for patients with chronic respiratory disease, cystic fibrosis, lung cancer, allergies and conduct research projects across all areas.
About the Role
This is a maternity leave cover position for 12 months.
Applications are sought from scientists with strong people skills who enjoy working in a dynamic and challenging environment. While experience in lung function is useful, training can be provided for a suitable candidate. Mandatory attributes include excellent teamwork, communication and time management skills. Duties include routine and complex lung function testing in a very busy clinical laboratory. Involvement in laboratory quality assurance will also be required. This position requires significant patient contact and strong interpersonal skills will be a major focus. This position is based at Monash Medical Centre Clayton and various satellite laboratories. There will be significant opportunities for leave cover.
About You
You are a proactive scientist who enjoys working in a fast paced workplace. You may be accustomed to working in a hospital environment. You have:

Proven organisational skills and can work autonomously;

Demonstrable ability to manage a range of administration responsibilities across a number of areas;
