About the Role:

Join our team as a Dietician Grade 4 – Clinical Lead on full-time, fixed-term basis (parental leave cover) until July 2026. Based across Monash Medical Centre, Moorabbin Hospital and The Victorian Heart Hospital.

 

In this role you will utilise your extensive knowledge and experience, contemporary leadership and workforce development skills, and service improvement capabilities to facilitate the provision of high quality nutrition services.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver expert, best practice, patient-centred care
  • Drive excellence in clinical practice within a high performing team of dietitians 
  • Provide clinical leadership, advice and share expertise to develop others and advance professional practice across Monash Health
  • Drive innovation through quality improvement projects and translation of research to achieve service improvements that enhance patient experiences and outcomes
  • Foster effective relationships and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary stakeholders to improve patient outcomes

About You: 

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

  • Your forward-thinking approach to care – your ideas matter to us 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills that engages and inspires
  • Advanced, contemporary leadership skills and experience skills in people management, conflict resolution and building and motivating teams
  • Experience in identifying need for change and leading others through this process, using extensive specialised knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team focus and an ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team  

 

Mandatory requirements of the role: 

  • Undergraduate or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia
  • Eligibility for Accredited Practising APD membership
