About the Role:
Join our team as a Grade 3 Dietitian on a full-time, fixed-term basis (parental leave cover) until July 2026, based at our Monash Medical Centre in Clayton.
In this role you will utilise your extensive clinical knowledge and skills to embed yourself as a valuable member of the multidisciplinary team, provide evidence based, patient-centred and outcome-focussed care to patients. Additionally, you will provide clinical leadership to inspire clinical excellence and drive continuous service improvement and research.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Deliver best practice, patient-centred care
- Support the daily operations of the department
- Oversee a high performing team of Dietitians
- Facilitate clinical supervision and group case discussions, fostering a culture of growth and clinical excellence
- Drive service, quality improvements and research that contributes to best-practice patient care
- Work as an embedded member of the multi-disciplinary team

About You:
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- Your forward-thinking approach to care – your ideas matter to us
- Extensive clinical experience in dietetics within a tertiary level hospital
- Contemporary leadership skills in people management, conflict resolution, building and motivating teams
- Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and related research activities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team focus and an ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in clinical operations (preferable)
- Experience in foodservice system improvement (preferable)
Mandatory requirements of the role:
- An approved undergraduate or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
- Eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia
- Eligibility for Accredited Practising APD membership
