We will aim to empower parents and carers and in collaboration with them strive to find the best solutions for their child and family.

About the Role

The Paediatric EPS Senior position is a specialist clinical mental health role in the MCH Emergency Department Clayton. The Paed EPS Team will provide responsive, timely best practice emergency mental health assessments and acute psychosocial and peer support. We will provide information regarding the range of options within ELMHS and the broader service system and in collaboration with parents, carers and agencies facilitate the process of linking in with the best options for support. Child and family empowerment and choice are a key priority in the Paediatric EPS Team and the team will work hard to ensure that families understand the care options and are able to form clear and informed opinions about the next steps in their care journey.

All ELMHS Mental Health Clinicians provide a broad range of services within the Southern Region.
