About The Opportunity 
Are you a leader driven by implementing best practice emergency care to improve health service delivery and patient outcomes? We are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead our MRFF Funded Project: Implementation Research to Improve Outcomes in Primary Spontaneous Pneumothorax (iIMPROVE PSP). This a 5-year project.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage research and engagement projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timely and effective outcomes. 

  • Lead qualitative and quantitative research, manage project partners, and drive stakeholder engagement. 

  • Develop and deliver influential presentations and publications, in collaboration with our Chief Investigators. 

  • Design and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to amplify project impact. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners 

  • Support other Emergency Care research activities and contribute to strategic planning. 

  • Directly supervise and manage a small project team. 

 

About You

To succeed in this role you’ll bring: 

  • Postgraduate qualifications and comprehensive project management experience. 

  • Proven ability to lead projects with autonomy and manage complex issues. 

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. 

  • Experience in leading national initiatives.  

  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods.  

  • Demonstrated ability in academic writing including translation reports
