About the Role:
Join our team as a Senior Project Partner on a Full time, fixed term (6 Months), based at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Partner to work closely with the Program Director, Women’s and Newborn, and the Project Medical Lead. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and executing the Centre of Excellence initiative, ensuring enhanced safety and wellbeing for mothers, newborns, and staff.
The Senior Project Partner role requires experience in leadership, project management, change management and engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
- Support workgroups under the guidance of the Project Medical Lead.
- Coordinate with various teams to facilitate effective implementation planning.
- Maintain timely communication with all stakeholders.
- Assist the Program Director with presentations, documents, and briefings.
- Manage administrative tasks, including electronic task management and meeting coordination.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes.
- Engage effectively with consumers in women’s health, showcasing excellent interpersonal skills.

We are the largest maternity provider in Victoria, providing care to over 10,000 women and their families each year.
The Women’s & Newborn Program is responsible for Maternity, Neonatal, Fertility and Gynaecology services across Monash Health.
We are excited to announce the launch of a Safer Birthing Centre of Excellence, funded by the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA), aimed at implementing a safety bundle for operative vaginal birth (OVB) across all Victorian Maternity Centres.
About You:
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- Proven leadership, project management, and change management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong influencing, collaboration, and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels.
- Ability to conduct site visits to maternity services across Victoria.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and attention to detail.
- Experience within the Health Sector would be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated skills in supporting and delivering projects.
