At Agile Psychological Medicine Clinics (aPM) we believe our community should have access to personalised, flexible, evidence-based therapeutic care in their interaction with public mental health services.
About the Role
We have a team of smart and dedicated psychologists, social workers and psychiatrists who are passionate about providing this care and we are looking for a full-time social worker to join the team for a 12 month fixed-term (parental leave cover). We maybe be open to part-time hours, so please get in touch with us to discuss the options. This role is based at 1480 Heatherton Road, Dandenong.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Meeting with consumers referred from Monash Health psychiatric triage, emergency services or inpatient units and jointly with the client, come to an understanding of the issues and the consumer’s needs.
- Provide social work support and system-based intervention as required - make a difference to the lives of consumers by providing timely and flexible care
- Routinely measure the outcomes of your work and have this inform your work going forward
- Be part of a strong and supportive clinical team where we support each other to do interesting and challenging work
About You
You are an accomplished social worker with interest and experience in mental health. A flexible thinker with the capacity to self-manage and have demonstrated interest and/or experience in systems-based or family work. You lead by example, thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence-based care to all our consumers
