About the Role:
We are excited to announce we are seeking applications for a Graduate Speech Pathologist within the Allied Health Mental Health Graduate Program on a full-time fixed-term basis.
The Allied Health Mental Health Graduate Program commences February 2026 for 12-months with 6 monthly rotations across a range of mental health areas including child, youth, adult and older adults in both community and inpatient settings.

Join a dynamic and progressive Mental Health Program that supports consumers, carers and families across Melbourne’s south-east. We deliver contemporary, evidence-based care across the full age spectrum - from Infant, Child and Youth (0–25 years) through to Adult and Older Adult Services.
Our program offers a wide range of specialist services for eating disorders, treatment and support for expectant mothers and mothers with new born babies, a gender dysphoria clinic, dual disability services and neuro-developmental assessment team. We’re recognised as leaders in our field, with strong governance and a commitment to innovation.

About You:
To thrive in this role, you will bring the following:
- An authentic desire to improve the lives of people with mental health conditions
- You are an early career clinician in Speech Pathology with less than 2 years professional experience
- You are a keen and curious learner, truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence-based care to all consumers, carers and families
- A team player who seeks opportunities to collaborate and learn from consumers, carers and families, the lived experience and clinical workforce
- You seek a career with meaning and purpose and to grow as a health professional
Mandatory requirements of the role:
- Relevant Speech Pathology qualification
- Eligibility for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Genuine interest in beginning and developing your allied health career in mental health care
- Enthusiastic, compassionate and collaborative
- Dedicated to safe best practice and quality care
- Committed to delivering patient centred and family centred care
- Current Australian Drivers License
