About the Role:
Join our team as a Speech Pathologist Grade 1 on a full-time ongoing basis where you will be involved in 3 rotations.
In this role you will collaborate with colleagues across the service to foster clinical excellence and consistency of practice. With each rotation lasting for 12-months, you will move between: The School Readiness program, Monash Health Community and Monash Children’s Hospital /Victorian Paediatric Rehab Service (VPRS). Being part of dynamic, evidence-based teams and will be involved in service development and quality improvement projects in your clinical area to support high quality clinical care.

About Us:
Monash Children’s Hospital is one of Australia’s leading providers of integrated children’s health services, offering over 30 specialist programs. Home to Victoria’s largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, we deliver expert care across areas such as Rehabilitation and Oncology.
Our Allied Health team provides specialised paediatric services across inpatient, outpatient, and Hospital in the Home settings. Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation (VPRS) offers a statewide service that sees a combination of inpatient and ambulatory clients who require time limited goal focused interdisciplinary rehabilitation.
Monash Health Community includes the Child and Family Team and the School Readiness Team, supporting families across Greater Dandenong, City of Casey, and Shire of Cardinia through multidisciplinary care. Services reflecting the Social Model of Health and Health Promotion philosophies. The School Readiness Team provides dynamic, innovative allied health outreach services into kindergarten programs using a capacity-building approach.
About You:
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- Relevant Speech Pathology qualification
- Eligibility for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Minimum of 12-months clinical experience desired
- A flexible mindset and willingness to work in different areas as required
- A team approach to learning and development, leading by example
- Current Australian Drivers License
