About the Role:
We currently have a 2 full-time ongoing vacancies within the Grade 1 rotation program, which includes acute, subacute and community rehabilitation experiences across six sites, with care streams including general medicine, neurosciences and head and neck.
In addition, full time fixed term opportunities are also available in this Grade 1 rotation program.
You will be a passionate speech pathologist who works well in a team and puts patient experience at the heart of your practice. Previous hospital or public health experience will be advantageous, as well as demonstrated competency in the assessment and interpretation of videofluoroscopy (though not essential). Opportunities in quality activities and clinical education will form part of this role. This presents an opportunity to join Victoria’s largest public health care organisation and the biggest Speech Pathology department in Melbourne.

About Us:
Speech Pathology at Monash Health covers the continuum and the life span. We have a large bed based department across six hospital sites; Monash Medical Centre, the Victorian Heart Hospital, Kingston Centre, Dandenong, Moorabbin and Casey hospitals and teams of speech pathologists in community health, community rehabilitation, clinics and mental health programs.
About You:
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- Relevant Speech Pathology qualification
- Eligibility for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- A flexible mindset and willingness to work in different areas as required
- A team approach to learning and development, leading by example
- Current driver’s license without restriction
