About Monash Health Pathology Service 

You will be joining Monash Health at an exciting time as we work in partnership with Alfred Health to be the premier shared public pathology service in Victoria.  As a member of the pathology team you will be helping shape the direction of the partnership. Monash Health Pathology is an integral part of Monash Health. It is the largest public provider of Pathology services in the state and currently operates 6 laboratories. The largest of these is located at the Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, with additional laboratories located at the Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey, Victorian Heart Hospital and Wonthaggi Hospitals. There are currently 18 collection locations based within the hospital sites and community settings. Services are provided to the Public and Private sectors, and other laboratory services. 

 

About the Role - Team Leader Sendaways & Logistics (Permanent Full Time Position)

The Sendaways & Logistics team Leader will be accountable and responsible to the Pre-Analytical Services Manager for the quality and timeliness of all aspects of Sendaway & Logistics processes. This position requires relevant experience and understanding of Sendaway processes and customer service together with a general knowledge of pathology. The Team Leader will supervise and co-ordinate the workflow and activities of pathology tests and determined by Monash Health. You will be part of a roster that rotates with other team members Monday to Friday. Health and Safety is essential requirements of the position in order to protect yourself and others. All personnel are required to wear approved safety glasses in conjunction with other personal protective equipment (provided by Monash Health).
