Join the Telehealth Team in a unique role supporting the operation, optimisation and future direction of virtual care across Monash Health. Working across Specialist Consulting Services, you will combine telehealth expertise, data analytics, stakeholder engagement and service improvement to enhance access, efficiency and patient experience.
These fixed-term positions are available on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers hybrid working arrangements, including opportunities to work from home.
About the Department / Program
The Telehealth Team sits within Specialist Consulting Technical & Performance and provides organisation-wide leadership in telehealth operations, virtual care optimisation and service innovation.
The team partners with clinical, operational and executive stakeholders to improve access, efficiency and patient experience across Specialist Consulting services. Working across all specialties, the team supports the implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement of virtual models of care while contributing to organisational priorities and Department of Health initiatives.

About the Role
Join our team as a Telehealth Operations and Virtual Care Coordinator on a full-time fixed term basis based at Monash Medical Centre Clayton. Reporting to the Telehealth Service Lead, this role combines telehealth operations, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, service improvement and project coordination to support the ongoing growth and optimisation of virtual care across Monash Health. Working closely with Specialist Consulting stakeholders, you will contribute to strategic initiatives designed to improve access, efficiency and patient outcomes while supporting implementation of the Virtual Care Variation Project.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the operation and optimisation of telehealth services across Specialist Consulting.

Conducting audits, workflow reviews and evaluation activities to support service improvement.

Analysing telehealth and virtual care data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.

Coordinating stakeholder engagement activities, workshops and consultations.

Developing reports, presentations, procedures and educational resources.
-
Supporting implementation of innovative virtual care models and service redesign initiatives.

Monitoring telehealth activity and operational performance indicators.
-
Building effective working relationships with clinical, operational and administrative stakeholders across the organisation.
This role will require occasional travel across Monash Health sites and offers flexibility to work across multiple locations as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring demonstrated experience, knowledge and capabilities including:

A strong understanding of Specialist Consulting and outpatient service operations.
-
Experience working in healthcare operations, health service improvement, project coordination, healthcare analytics or Specialist Consulting environments.
-
Experience working within telehealth and virtual care services or supporting implementation of virtual care initiatives.
-
Well-developed analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
-
Advanced Excel skills, including experience working with large datasets and pivot tables.
-
Strong written communication skills with experience preparing reports, presentations and business documentation.
-
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
-
Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
-
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
Mandatory requirements:
-
Relevant tertiary qualification in health, public health, health administration, business, project management, health informatics or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Experience supporting telehealth services and understanding of Specialist Consulting and outpatient service operations.

Current Victorian Driver Licence.
Desirable:

Experience analysing healthcare data to identify trends, opportunities and service improvement initiatives.

Advanced Excel skills including data validation, reporting and analysis of large datasets.

Experience using Power BI or other data visualisation tools.

Experience working within telehealth and virtual care services.

Experience conducting audits, evaluations or quality improvement activities.
