About The Role 

Maternity Service Manager - Permanent Full Time Position  

In this senior leadership role, you will work closely with the Clinical Operations Manager / Deputy Director of Nursing and will be responsible for the clinical and business outcomes of the maternity services. Key to your success will be: 

  • Your ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with JMPH Obstetricians and Paediatricians  

  • Striving to build and develop a positive culture among your team 

  • Role modelling excellence in every interaction 

  • Driving evidence based best practice 

 

About You  

What you need:

  • Registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via Australian Health Practitioner Relegation Agency (Ahpra) 

  • Current and ongoing employment screening including satisfactory Police Check, employee Working With Children Check 

  • A minimum of five years midwifery practice post registration 

  • Previous and recent midwifery management experience 

  • RANZCOG Level 3 Practitioner 

  • Easily identified as a role model of clinical excellence in midwifery care 

  • Cognisance of midwifery sphere of practice (midwives code of practice) and of other professional standards as set by the Australian Nursing & Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) and Australian College of Midwives (ACM) 

  • Post graduate studies in management or leadership (desirable)
