About the Role
Are you passionate about improving healthcare outcomes, better patient care, and research? We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented and enthusiastic professional to manage and further develop the newly established Australia and New Zealand Vasculitis Quality and Disease Registry (ANZVASC-QDR). This part-time (0.4 EFT/32 hours per fortnight) fixed term role is an opportunity to shape a key new resource. You will be collaborating with healthcare professionals and researchers to help ensure the ANZVASC-QDR becomes a cornerstone for quality improvement and research in vasculitis.
This exciting new role involves working at Monash Health, the primary registry site, to oversee on-boarding of new registry sites, data collection and analysis, and develop reporting and data access procedures. About Monash Health Nephrology
Monash Health is the quaternary provider of Nephrology Services in the south east corridor of metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. Services include chronic kidney disease prevention and management, kidney and kidney-pancreas transplantation, a full suite of extracorporeal and peritoneal dialysis kidney replacement therapies, supportive care and comprehensive Nephrology research, education and training programs. Monash Health provides a dialysis service under a hub and spoke (satellite) model with the hub service located at Monash Health Clayton Campus. Dialysis services are designed and located to support a range of patient dialysis needs including inpatient, home and satellite dialysis. Under the DHHS Vic Renal Capability Framework 2019, Monash Health is a level 6 Hub provider with governance and support system responsibilities for its regional and rural dialysis partners.
About You
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skill, experience and knowledge:

Substantial (e.g. several years) experience with data management, data collection, data entry and analysis

Previous Clinical Quality and/or Disease Registry Experience

Previous experience with setting up a registry, data analysis and statistics, including for example the use of platforms/programs such as Stata.

Proven ability to adhere to protocols, standards and guidelines, including a thorough understanding of confidentiality, privacy and research ethics principles

High-level analytical and research skills and a demonstrated capacity to develop and implement processes and systems

Substantial experience and expertise with REDCap (data entry, programming, data quality and reporting functions)

Experience in working with registry data to analyse data, generate quality reports and participate in research

Experience with reading the patient medical record and the ability to work with hospital-based programs e.g. those in the Pathology and Radiology systems

Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and medical documentation

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs

Highly-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders and negotiate positive outcomes to complex issues

Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage time and plan work to meet deadlines.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and use of discretion to solve issues relating to work
