Strategically positioned in Cranbourne, this new site offers residents convenient access to essential health services, eliminating the need to travel long distances, and serve as vital healthcare hub providing accessible care, engaging with local communities, and contributing to overall wellbeing.  Their impact extends beyond medical treatment, fostering healthier communities.    

The Cranbourne Community Hospital will provide a range of services some of which include day surgery, dialysis, specialist consulting, Child and Family, allied and community health, dental, child, youth and family services, early in life mental health services, South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault (SECASA), mental health, pathology and pharmacy.  

The Operational Support team for this Community Hospital site is larger when compared to any of our existing Community Health Centres, and this team will support an increased number of services services and staff based at this hospital site. The Operational Support team will consist of up to 11 EFT in total to support rosters across the facility, and accommodate proposed extended hours.  

 

About the Role

We are offering a full time Site Co-ordinator role for this new facility, Cranbourne Community Hospital.  

This role reports directly to the Community Sites Manager who has responsibility to manage site operational and site administration across a number of Community Sites, plus this new hospital site.  We are looking to appoint a capable Site Coordinator responsible for the overall day-to-day operation of this facility. 

The Site Co-ordinator takes a lead with Occupational Health & Safety, Emergency Management, and Quality responsibility for site compliance and acts as the Site Incident Commander support code responses. 

 

About You: 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, engaging, inclusive and professional 

  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially 

  • Ability to work independently and be self-directed  

  • Demonstrated productivity including initiative, good problem-solving skills, judgement and attention to detail.  

  • Have a strong understanding of occupational Health & Safety / risk management 

  • Confident and assertive, able to take the lead as the Site Incident Commander with a strong understanding of Emergency Management processes. 

  • Committed to a high standard of work with a desire to see the team succeed and a willingness to support your work colleagues.

What you need? 

  • Certificate III Business Administration preferred or equivalent training 

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role 

  • Current Victorian driver licence and willing to travel to different sites
