Our Journey 

The Casey Area Mental Health Service is led by an innovative and supportive leadership team that seeks to provide an innovative and recovery-based model of mental health care that will continue to develop with our growing community in the Southeast growth corridor.

The Continuing Care Team model of care is a non-acute follow up to people with mental health issues, requiring specialist mental health treatment that is not met by generic services. This service is aimed at providing case management support and treatment for consumers with a severe/persistent mental illness aged 25 to 65 years.

We are seeking a new team manager to join our team in Cranbourne on a full time basis, working Monday to Friday 830-5pm. This position is open to Registered nurses, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker.

 

A Day in the Life:

In this leadership role you will work with adult consumers with varying degrees of psychiatric or mental illness and/or drug and alcohol dependency problems. Continuing Care Team Manager is expected to provide both clinical and organisational oversight to the Continuing Care Team. Using clinical experience and expertise, supporting both the treating team, clients and families/carers to achieve their recovery goals. 

What you need:

  • Evidence of commitment to working in Mental Health - Post Graduate Qualification in Mental Health as outlined in the position description
  • Understanding of AOD and Forensic Mental Health is highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience within an Inpatient Unit or similar
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Relevant working rights/visa
