About the Role
Join our team as a Grade 1 Dietitian on a fixed term, part time basis, working in our Community Rehabilitation Program.
This role is ideal for an experienced Grade 1 who thrives in a fast paced setting, enjoys diversity and variety and is passionate about achieving positive health outcomes for our clients. This role will see you treat a wide range of clients with varying clinical presentations including: malnutrition, weight management, oncology, cardiac, pulmonary, gastroenterology, diabetes, and many more. This is a great opportunity to diversify your skillset with access to clinical support and mentoring to develop and grow your skills and confidence working with a broad range of client populations and presentations within the community. You will be also be an integral part of the wider Monash Health, Nutrition and Dietetics team and will have access to support and opportunities to advance your career.
This position is based within the Cranbourne and Pakenham Community Rehabilitation teams however travel may be required to other Monash Health sites.
This role will see you:

Work across a variety of clinical specialisms providing evidence based care to our clients

Work as part of a knowledgeable and supportive interdisciplinary team

Learn, grow and expand your knowledge within an experienced, supportive team

Champion the Dietetic profile and importance of nutrition care

Establish strong relationships within the multidisciplinary Nursing & Allied Health team to optimise nutrition care for our clients

Empower the team to advocate for Dietetics for our clients as clinically appropriate

Collaborate with the leadership team to foster a positive team culture that thrives on growth, learning and accountability

Community Rehabilitation offers both home and centre based therapy. The Dietetics team within Community Rehabilitation at Monash Health is expanding. We are an inclusive, experienced team of Dietitians offering client-centred, goal driven rehabilitation services maximising independence and well-being following acute illness or injury.
We work closely and collaboratively with an experienced multidisciplinary team to achieve our client’s rehabilitation goals providing quality home and centre-based therapy. We aim to deliver a very high standard of care, making a positive impact to every client we treat.

What you need:

Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or Masters of Nutrition & Dietetics (or recognised equivalent)

Eligible for membership of the Dietitians Australia (DA) and the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) program.

Experience working with clients in a rehabilitation or community setting

Current drivers licence
