About the Role
Step into an exciting opportunity as a Grade 1 Exercise Physiologist and make a real impact within our Aged and Community Care (ACC) Program!
This full-time, fixed-term role until December 2026 offers a dynamic and rewarding environment.
You’ll play a key role in delivering best-practice, person-centred care while working closely with a vibrant multidisciplinary team including Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists, and Stream/Team Leaders. Your work will support patients to achieve their goals, help strengthen partnerships across and beyond Monash Health, and contribute to high-quality, effective service delivery.
You will be working across a variety of specialisms and client conditions including (but not limited to): Orthopaedic, Neurological, Oncology, Pain management and Cardiorespiratory. Delivering individual and group exercise physiology services within a community centre, clients' home environment and community settings. Working with a diverse range of clients offers great variety- no two days will be the same!
This role comes with opportunities to learn, grow and expand your knowledge within an experienced, supportive team. You will also have access to in-house professional development, and 1:1 support from a Grade 2 Exercise Physiologist.

About Us
The Aged and Community Care (ACC) Program provides an interdisciplinary service to support people over the age of 65 in the community. The program aims to keep the client independent within their community, proactively promoting health and independence, and self-management whilst assisting with timely interventions to prevent deterioration of the condition, and admission to hospital or residential care. We offer a client-centred, goal directed approach to a growing and diverse population.

Mandatory requirements of the role:

Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science or equivalent as per Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) approved courses

Meets eligibility criteria to be an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP)

Current drivers' license

Current accreditation as an AEP
