About the Role

We’re seeking a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with experience in Mental Health for a full-time, ongoing Intake Clinician position. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

In this role, you will:

  • Work as a Senior Clinician managing Intake assessments.
  • Participate in daily team functions including duty roles, crisis management, and multi-agency liaison.
  • Deliver care both onsite and in clients’ homes.
  • Apply your knowledge of mental health legislation, policy, and clinical expertise.
  • Actively participate in support and education for the team.

About Us

The Casey Area Mental Health Service is led by a dynamic and supportive leadership team committed to delivering innovative, recovery-oriented care. We serve the growing South East corridor through both inpatient and community-based services.

The Cranbourne Community Mental Health Team operates Monday to Sunday, 8:30am–5:00pm, providing comprehensive support to adults with complex mental health needs. Our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to promoting independence, self-efficacy, and social inclusion.

About You

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Relevant qualifications and current registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse.
  • Demonstrated experience in mental health nursing.
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation and recovery-focused care.
  • Australian working rights.
  • Current AHPRA registration
